Fikisha is a mobile platform that helps tenants, landlords, and property managers manage electricity sub-meter accounts — linking meters, monitoring usage, and submitting service requests. My work focused on the payment API, gateway integrations, and an admin dashboard for transaction and money reporting.

The Challenge/ Problem
Sub-meter payments needed a reliable collection layer that could move money safely while giving operators clear visibility into every transaction. Payment providers also changed over time — from FastHub Solutions to ClickPesa and later Selcom — without breaking existing flows.
The Approach
I prepared the payment APIs, integrated the successive payment gateways, and built a dashboard that reports all transactions and money details so the business can track collections, reconcile payments, and monitor account activity.
The Outcome
Fikisha users can manage sub-meter accounts from the app while operators rely on a stable payment backend and reporting dashboard for transparent, auditable money movement across the platform.
